After any party it is always a good idea to let your guests know that you appreciated them showing up. A good way to do this is to offer a party favor to each and every guest that came. The same goes for an anniversary party.

Depending upon what year the anniversary, it is a good idea to customize party favors according to the given anniversary year. For example, a 25 year anniversary is usually the silver anniversary. The anniversary couple can give away things that have to do with silver. This does not necessarily mean expensive jewelry or anything of that nature, but could be silver coins or something along that line.

The anniversary couple should have a general idea of who their guests are and pick anniversary party favors according to this knowledge. Anniversary party favors can also be glasses for those who drink, or cards for those who play card games. It is not unheard of to give away baked goods such as cookies to party guests either. General anniversary party favors could be anything from gift certificates to the couple’s favorite places to candles of different scents. Although it is a good idea to customize the party favors to fit the occasion, in this case an anniversary, it is not necessary because your guests will appreciate almost anything you give them. After all, they probably had a great time at the party and were not expecting the host or hostess of the party to give them anything for having a good time.
